Sydney Craft Community

There are so many fantastic crafty places in Sydney where you can learn new skills like screenprinting, ukelele playing, beer brewing .. the list goes on and on.

Here's a collection of places I know about that run creative classes, or sell creative wares, which I'll continue to add to as they pop up on my radar. If there's any you'd like me to add, email me dana.szydlik at gmail dot com.

The guys are workshop are so passionate about sharing creativity - anyone can be creative! They run lots of different short (and affordable!) courses from tattoo illustration to beer brewing.

It's a treasure trove of beads, buttons and braids, cottons, canvasses and crochet items, heritage linen, upholstery fabrics, dress fabrics and period vintage pieces. All fund raised go back into Archive Australia to provide  accommodation, employment and day programs to people living with a disability.
